Plastation Virtual Reality was first mentioned in early 2014, however these murmurings were long forgotten about with the launch of the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive, it was originally known as Project Morpheus and people have been hyping a lot about it. Many people believe that its lower price point means that it wont be able to compete with the Oculus or the Vive, however having tested the hardware personally I can attest that it is more than capable of doing so. In actual fact, I would go as far to say that it is actually the VR headset to look out for this year. Particularly if you are into PS4 Jailbreak software and the like. There are already millions of playstation 4’s available for the public to purchase and soon there’s going to be just as many virtual reality headsets too. We got to test the Playstation VR headset out that Sony’s 2016 game developer conference in Wisconsin and now know that it will only set consumers back by approximately three hundred and fifty pounds – yes, you read it correctly, £350.
This is considerably cheaper than the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive and so this alone is likely to tempt many consumers away from those models. In terms of actual performance, we will say that the screen, or goggle quality that the Playstation 4 VR has is not quite as good as the Vive, nor the Oculus. However, for £200 less, it’s definitely not significant enough to put you off. I would personally say that it doesn’t really matter which one you go for in this regard, as they’re all fairly similar. Although it would definitely be useful to have them all side by side so we could test them on an individual basis. We only managed to test them one at a time and so it was difficult to see the intricate differences between them.
The goggles themselves use a 5.7 full HD OLED and it has an effective resolution of 960 x 1080 for each eye, the goggles have a 100 degree FOV and so that is absolutely plenty for any game, you won’t find yourself complaining that you can’t see the screen, that’s for sure. The headphones themselves don’t actually come with any sort of headphones for sound, so it’s probably worthwhile ensuring that you have a decent pair at home to fall back on. These are truly required if you are searching for an immersive gaming experience as I’m sure you all are. Although, this probably makes the Playstation VR much more social than being locked into a game with no peripheral vision, nor sound to speak to people. I’m not sure what the future will hold in this regard but it will be certainly very interesting. Unfortunately the Playstation VR does not offer the see through technology that the Vive has, but you won’t complain about that, because the Playstation VR has no movement sensitivity so you don’t actually need to stand up and walk around, simply look around as you would in real life.
Many people have been asking me recently how to jailbreak a PS4 and I’ve been telling them repeatedly that it’s a really easy process to undertake and not something that is ridiculous time consuming as they are regularly led to believe – in actual fact if you put your mind to it you can get it all finished in under a few hours. Why would you want a PS4 jailbreak you might be asking yourself, well really there is a plethora of reasons for why you should, firstly – you can get any of the latest Playstation 4 games for free, secondly you will be able to download them easily from your computer, burn the game to a DVD of your choice and then simply put the DVD into your PS4 and play the game. It really is as easy as that and there is a large number of online resources out there that provide ample instructions for how to do so as well. It is really not rocket science and it is certainly something that anybody who would like to starting playing more PS4 games should be looking into. The best website that I found to explain how to Jailbreak PS4 was jail-breaks.
This website effortlessly explained all of the individual steps required and I had my PS4 Jailbreak completed in under one hour from start to finish. I couldn’t highly recommend it any more than I already have, I’ve been telling all of my friends with Playstation 4’s that they should do it too. I think because the Eagles Hotel has a range of PS4’s available in all of the rooms it’s more important for me to do it than most people, can you imagine purchasing all of the games for full price, it would cost so much money and in all fairness doing so has enabled me to buy lots of consoles rather than lots of games for a few of the consoles. If you are a hardcore gamer then you should certainly do this yourself and you will definitely be back thanking me in the near future. I haven’t looked back and have actually got over 50 different games to play on each of the consoles at the minute, I think in the future I’ll be getting even more – completely free of course and absolutely what I needed.
I’d head over to Jail-Breaks.com if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative than spending thousands of pounds on PS4 games that you might not even enjoy – especially with all the new Virtual Reality headsets coming out like the Playstation VR and all of the new games that it is certainly due to bring along. If anybody needs any help whatsoever in setting their new Jailbreak PS4 up then please give me a shout and I will be more than happy to help, although I’m certainly not the most technologically savvy person around, I have done the process a few times now and I am more than comfortable with doing a few more to help people out.
So essentially today’s post is about the new Playstation 4 that I recently received in the post, courtesy of Sony. It is absolutely fantastic I have to say, the packaging was outstanding – despite it taking me far too long to get out of the box, it certainly is a true front runner in the battle of gaming machines, whether you’re looking at purchasing a console, computer or even a hand held device too. It has currently shipped over 50 million separate devices and so is currently the most popular gaming console that is currently in production. In actual fact, it is also one of the most popular gaming devices of all time, only surpassed by a selection of hand held devices and the old nintendo consoles of the past. In an apt comparison, the Xbox one has sold only half as many units as Sony and Microsoft have recently announced that they are already seeking to upgrade their console to try and match the Playstation 4’s superior hardware specifications. We can pretty much call this war over, because Microsoft has actually recently stopped reporting to the media how many units it has sold, they have therefore essentially omitted defeat and this trend is likely to continue well into 2016 as well.
We here at the Eagles Hotel in Wales are keen Playstation 4 gamers and we actually provide people who visit us with a jailbroken PS4 in each of the rooms in our lovely countryside set hotel. We learnt how to jealbreak a ps4 a while ago and ever since then we have been promotion the use of them repeatedly. We personally got hooked on the latest console way back at E3 in 2015, but ever since then we’ve found it exceptionally hard to put it away. Throughout 2016 we are hoping that Sony delivers even further and with the release of all of the virtual reality headsets so far, we think it will be a truly excellent year for video game enthusiasts like ourselves. We think that the current state of affairs is that it is worrying because Sony may soon run away with the race and the last thing any gamer wants is a monopoly with only one company vying to produce the best pieces of hardware – as the old saying goes, competition is healthy.
In terms of virtual reality compatability, neither console is currently compatible with the two headsets that are out at the moment; the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift – however Playstation has truly worked hard to produce one of their own and we expect it to be just as good as the two that are out already. At least, I really do hope so or us console dwellers might be waiting some time before we can jump on the Virtual Reality bandwagon.
Wales is actually a country, this is something that not many people are aware of but in actual fact it is situated in the United Kingdom, bordered by a range of different countries – yes, countries! You will find it surrounded by England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and also Southern Ireland. It is land bound to the east, but to the west lays the Irish Sea and particularly the British channel too. In recent years the population of Wales has grown dramatically and currently it has a population of over 4,000,000 people too. In terms of land area that it covers, well, this has changed considerably over the years and currently it owns over 20 thousand square kilometers of mainly mountainous and large swathes of grassland too. The majority of the mountains in Wales are located in the northern regions, including Snowdonia, however there is a range of mountain ranges located throughout the country.
The Welsh Nationality actually originated in the 1500’s and it came through under Celtic rule following the years of the Romans in early Britain in the fifth century. As a result there has been a very rich heritage in Wales ever since and was at one time considered one of the World’s major powers when under rule of England. By the time that the Industrial Revolution occured in the 1900’s Wales saw considerable growth of its economy due to the large scale mining communities within it. With two thirds living in the Southern half of the country, centred upon the capital city – Cardiff, Swansea and also Newport too. The remainder of the population typically lives on the border with England, near Livepool and Manchester, or in the Northern valleys. It is particularly desolate in the Winter months, with temperatures reaching as low as -20 degrees in recent years, however in the Summer people can expect temperatures in Wales to rise into the early 30 degree – whilst also being particularly humid too.
Wales shares much of its heritage with England and there are still a large number of communities in Wales that speak Welsh as their firtst language. The majority of the country also speak English too and there is free access to travel throughout the entirity of the United Kingdom due to its membership within the UK. In fact, there are no blocks on the roads to permit entry from Wales to England, nor is there any when utilising a ferry to cross the border to Northern Ireland either. This has benefitted Wales considerably over the years and the population has grown accordingly.
